Find your calling at Mercy!Mercy Hospital - Springfield Missouri is recruiting an emergency medicine physician! We are a level I trauma center for Missouri and Arkansas and one of the busiest EDs in the Midwest. We are a hospital-employed group with guaranteed shifts and hours, no partnership track/buy-in and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one! We offer leadership and career growth plus full benefits and a dedicated, stable, loyal group of partners. A great work/life balance is achievable with great hours and flexible scheduling. We can also offer a variety of shifts at our regional hospitals with lower volume and trauma.
Mercy Hospital - Springfield:
- Springfield - 886-bed, level I, tertiary trauma, and catchment hospital for four states
- 80,000+ annual ED visits
- 9-hour shifts - 7 for patient care and last 2 for clean-up means you go home on-time
- 13 physician shifts each day - no single coverage
- 80-bed emergency department
- 11-bed pediatric emergency department with most peds specialties available
- Over 600 employed physicians across all specialties including comprehensive stroke, burn, hand, trauma
- 24/7 in-house neurology/stroke, general and orthopedic trauma, anesthesiology, intensivists, hospitalists, and OB Hos
- ED ultrasound (Sonosite), MRI, and CT available
- Microsoft DAX for efficient charting and significant time savings in documentation
- Variety of shifts available at other hospitals for change of pace
- EPIC EMR across Mercy
- Rated in the top 5% nationally for overall clinical excellence by Healthgrades
- Leapfrog Grade A for quality and safety
Mercy Emergency Medicine Offers:
- Excellent culture - low physician turnover, hospital-employed
- $260/hour minimum plus wRVU bonuses (group average $297/hour)
- $150,000 recruitment bonus plus paid relocation
- $100/hour excess hour premium (optional)
- Schedule set three months in advance
