Description
Psychology Postdoctoral FellowshipPosition Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Position Type: Post-Doc Fellow
Specialty: OBGYN Behavioral Medicine
Every day, for more than 150 years, the physicians of University Hospitals have renewed a promise to meeting our patients' health care needs. Our talented team is integral to our rich history of success and critical to our future in a dynamic environment. As stewards of the UH legacy for excellence in patient care, our physicians are guided by an unwavering commitment to our mission: To Heal. To Teach. To Discover.
University Hospitals Behavioral Health Institute, offers a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology graduates. The primary aim of the University Hospitals psychology program is to prepare scholar practitioners for independent clinical practice in academic medical settings caring for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with complex behavioral health needs. The program is structured to facilitate the integration of didactically acquired knowledge into guided professional practice. Supervisors facilitate the incremental engagement of fellows with highly complex cases from assessment and diagnosis to case conceptualization and treatment.
Fellows are considered integral members of each rotation's treatment team. Interdisciplinary teams look to interns to provide assessment, testing, diagnostic recommendations and treatment facilitation across multiple rotations and in a specialty area.
