Position Highlights
• The Baystate Health APP Hospital Medicine Fellowship is a 9-month, structured transition-to-practice program designed to prepare APPs for independent practice in Hospital Medicine.
• Baystate Advanced Practice Provider Hospital Medicine Fellowship is accredited as an Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.
• Fellows will rotate through multiple hospital medicine care models, including daytime rounding services, admission and swing shifts, night medicine and cross coverage.
• Our in-depth training emphasizes clinical decision-making and diagnostic reasoning, interdisciplinary collaboration, safe and efficient patient flow and discharge planning, and high-quality evidence based care practices.
• The final phase of the fellowship program focuses on transition to independent practice. Fellows graduate prepared to: function independently within hospital medicine, manage complex inpatient cases, collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams, and transition to a full time hospital medicine role.
Qualifications: Board certified ACNPs, AGACNPs or PAs.
The compensation ranges below represent the base salary for all hospital medicine fellows for the duration of the fellowship program. Upon completion of the fellowship program, typically, a new grad can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range for the position they accept. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full-time commitment for exempt employees.
Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program: $100,000 annualized salary.
Hospital Medicine Day Rounder: $134,415 - $170,260
Hospital Medicine Nocturnist: $139,050 - $176,130
