Description
Corewell Health West is seeking a Hematologist Oncologist with interest and expertise in classical and malignant hematology for our growing, nationally recognized program in West Michigan. This is a great opportunity for a physician who is passionate about advancing multidisciplinary care for individuals with blood disorders and hematologic malignancies , expanding access to innovative therapies and clinical trials, and building a destination program that serves patients across the region.As a member of the hematology, oncology, and BMT division, you will partner with physician and APP colleagues across medical oncology, bone marrow transplant , radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, genetics, hospitalist medicine, and palliative care to support a comprehensive, integrated hematology program focused on clinical excellence, innovation, research, and an exceptional patient experience.
Clinical Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive care for patients with blood disorders and hematologic malignancies.
* Deliver evidence-based, multidisciplinary treatment utilizing the latest systemic therapies, targeted agents, immunotherapies, and precision medicine approaches.
* Participate in shared inpatient and after- hours call responsibilities.
* Collaborate closely with support services, including genetics, nutrition, palliative care, rehabilitation, survivorship, and nurse navigation.

Qualifications
Required
* MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
* Eligibility for unrestricted Michigan medical licensure.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and clinical skills.
Preferred
* Clinical research experience with therapeutic trials.
* Interest in quality improvement, or program development.
* Academic accomplishments through publications, presentations, mentorship or teaching.
