Description
Corewell Health is seeking a full time Surgical Oncologist to join our Cancer Care team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role will encompass a broad range of complex surgical oncology with a focus in cutaneous malignancies, minimally invasive esophagectomy and management of peritoneal malignancies. The ideal candidate will also have a special interest in research, with the possibility of protected time. Additionally, training and mentoring of medical students and residents are expected.Working alongside three other physicians and five advanced practice providers, you will be a part of one of the largest and busiest comprehensive cancer centers in West Michigan! Located at the Lemmen- Holton Cancer Pavilion on Corewell Health's impressive "Medical Mile" in downtown Grand Rapids, you will enjoy working in an integrated environment that includes tumor boards, conferences, and work with resident physicians. Our Cancer program houses robust medical oncology services, specialized radiation oncology, interventional radiology, genetics, and multi-specialty teams! Surgeries are performed at Butterworth Hospital, directly across the street from the Cancer Center and connected by sky walk. This opportunity offers ample support for growth, research, and a high volume of complex surgical oncology cases and cutaneous malignancies.

- Required Doctorate
- LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
